The largest of California's Channel Islands, Santa Cruz Island is one of the five islands that make up the Channel Islands National Park. The island is rich in cultural history, magnificent landscapes, and unique flora and fauna. Native American Indians inhabited the island for over 10,000 years and Europeans explored and ranched on the island. 11/19/21 Am Rockfish "6 Anglers, Beautiful Weather, the Fish Came Easy" The weather doesn't really get any better than what we had today. Flat calm, no swells and a very light winter breeze. With 6 anglers and beautiful weather, the fish came easy. We set up long lazy drifts that produced limits of good local fish by 10:30 in the morning.
